Roberto Spremulli
Born in Pisa in 1964, he gained his teaching diploma in Gregorian chant in 1991 (Ambrosial Papal Institute of Sacred Music in Milan) and in 2005 the Academic Diploma of Level 2 Vocal Composition and Choir Direction (F. Venezze Conservatorium in Rovigo). He is Director of the S. Cecilia Institute of Sacred Music in Rovigo. He teaches Music Education and Choral singing at the "G. Sichirollo" Diocesan catholic school in Rovigo.
Since 2003 he has worked with the training agency "La Scuola" in Brescia. He specialises in music education of small children from 0 to 6 years of age and in 2003 he was appointed “Associate Teacher AIGAM” (Italian Gordon Association for Musical Learning).
He is a member of the Artistic Commission, ASAC (Association for the Development of Choral Activity in the Veneto area), of the Theatre Commission of the S. Giovanni Bosco Foundation in Rovigo, of the Diocesan Commission "Liturgy and Song" and he is the Artistic Director of the Choral Association, S. Bortolo di Rovigo.
He has taught courses in Gregorian chant, voice training and Choir leadership.
He has frequently performed in concerts and made recordings in Italy and abroad with: "Cantori Gregoriani and La Reverdie". He directs the choir, Polifonico Melos, and is the current director of the reunited choirs of the Diocese of Adria - Rovigo.
From 1984 to 1994 he was part of the " Nova Schola Gregoriana" choir in Verona and from 1989 to 1994 the "Gruppo Madrigalistico Fosco Corti" and from 1988 to 2002 the Rovigo Madrigal Group.
