THE SINGERS
Alessandro Riganti
 Born in Solbiate Arno in 1962, he began studying the piano privately and gained his certificate in theory and solfeggio at the G. Verdi Conservatorium in Milan in 1979. Member of SIAE as a singer-songwriter since 1984.
Between 1986 and 1991 he attended the Ambrosial Papal Institute of Sacred Music in Milan, under Fulvio Rampi, obtaining a teaching diploma in Gregorian chant and at the same time a place in Cantori Gregoriani since the foundation of the group (1986).
He also taught on the summer courses "Il suono della Parola" organised by Cantori Gregoriani from 1996 to 2004 in Milan and Rovigo and is part of the editorial team on the magazine "Note Gregoriane ".
In 1995 he founded the art and spectacle theatre company Ex Novo.
He has also a long-standing working relationship with don Antonio Mazzi, founder of the EXODUS foundation.
He married in 1986 and has two children. With his wife Monica he runs a craft business, making rugs.
